Some of the most impactful automations are not the ones that are flashy or complex, but the ones that save time, reduce repetitive work, and improve visibility visibility across an organization.

This is a simple example of using Power Automate to create a SharePoint calendar that automatically refreshes to mirror an Excel tracker.

I created this for blog team I work with, and it not only allowed them to track their content in a single Excel file, it provided program stakeholders a nicely formatted, color formatted SharePoint calendar that is always up to date and shareable across the organization.

With the request forms for each blog channel linked at the top of the calendar page, stakeholders have everything they need in one place — a way to submit requests for a blog, track its status while still in development, and see when it will publish in the context of surrounding content and key moments.
